# Pricing and commercial terms

Every silicone part is quoted per project. There is no public price list, and that is a deliberate manufacturing constraint rather than a sales tactic: part price is driven by tooling geometry, cavity count, compound choice and annual volume, none of which are knowable before a drawing is reviewed.

## How a quote is built

1. **Send a drawing.** STEP, IGES, or a hand sketch with critical dimensions.
2. **DFM memo within 48 hours**, flagging undercuts, draft angles and shrinkage compensation, plus the dimensions that will drive cost.
3. **Material options within one working day.** One to three candidate compounds, each with a TDS, a regulatory map and a prior case study.
4. **Quotation**, split into three lines: tooling (one-off), unit price at your annual volume, and sampling.

## Lead times

- DFM feedback on a drawing: **48 hours**
- Material selection proposal: **1 working day**
- Tool design and T1 sampling: **10–14 days**
- Series production after sample approval: **14–21 days** depending on grade and part complexity

Below the MOQ we can still quote, but tooling amortisation starts to dominate the unit price. For prototype / one-off runs, ask for a "T1-only" quote.

## What is included

- Tooling design review (DFM memo)
- Compound qualification per regulatory target
- T1 sample shipment (5–10 pieces, dimensional report)
- In-process inspection per AQL plan
- Lot traceability (compound batch to finished part)
- Standard packaging (PE bag, corrugated carton, palletised FOB Shenzhen)
- Commercial documents: invoice, packing list, COO (China), CoC, test reports on request

## What is NOT included unless quoted

- PPAP / FAI documentation beyond the standard report
- Customer-specific tooling modifications (texturing, engraving, colour match beyond Pantone equivalents)
- Third-party testing beyond our standard schedule (SGS, Intertek, TÜV, NAMSA quotes available)
- Drop shipments to multiple destinations
- Custom packaging (retail-ready boxes, blister packs, etc.)
- Letter of credit or documentary collection fees
- Customs duties in destination country (paid by buyer)

## Payment

- Tooling: 50% on PO, 50% on T1 sample approval
- Series production: 30% deposit, 70% on B/L copy for new customers; net-30 from third order onward
- Wire transfer in USD or CNY
- Letter of credit accepted for orders over USD 50,000 (subject to confirmation)

## Shipping

- FOB Shenzhen by default (CIF / DDP available on request)
- Air freight: 3–5 working days
- Sea freight LCL: 18–25 working days
- Sea freight FCL: 14–20 working days
- Courier (DHL / FedEx) for samples: 3–5 working days

## NDA and IP

- NDAs are signed as a routine part of medical-device and infant-care quoting. We do not charge for NDA review.
- Tooling is paid for by the customer; we retain custody of the tool until the part is out of production.
- Tooling can be transferred to a third-party molder at the customer's request, with 30 days' written notice and the receiving molder's ISO 13485 / IATF 16949 certificate on file.
- Customer-owned formulations, drawings and specifications are stored in a customer-only directory on our D1 instance. We do not share with other customers.
